Since when is saying "black is beautiful" racist? Yet, in a stunning accusation of the Radiance Foundation and Issues4life, Planned Parenthood and California pro-choice groups are calling the "black is beautiful" billboards that are pro-life racist. The signs have been going up in predominantly black communities in Oakland, California against abortion.http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/us/2011/June/Groups-Say-Black--Beautiful-Pro-life-Ads-Racist/
The ludicrous statement by Planned Parenthood is the height of hypocrisy since their own ongoing policy of black eugenics by founder Margaret Sanger has largely contributed to the black population going down by 23% in Oakland. Planned Parenthood has done away with more of the black population than the KKK ever dreamed about.http://www.examiner.com/christian-perspectives-in-san-jose/is-eugenics-responsible-for-the-black-population-flat-lining
Bay Area black population numbers have decreased in San Francisco(19%), Milpitas(14%) and has flat-lined in the majority of cities of the Silicon Valley as San Jose, Campbell and Mountain View compared to other racial demographics. The targeted poor black females have contributed to these widespread decreases in black population growth.
In an amazing display of lacking and ignoring the facts, Representative Barbara Lee, Democrat of the 9th congressional district of Oakland, California, said, "I am deeply offended by the race-based billboards that are being displayed in my congressional district by the Radiance Foundation and Issue4life," she said in a statement reported by CBN News. "These billboards stigmatize women of color and perpetuate myths about parenting skills and the types of women who seek and use abortion services."
Never mind that the San Jose Mercury even reported this year that the black population was down 23% in Oakland compared to the last census. Lee quickly injects the race card as a frivilous accusation instead of dealing with the actual problems of institutionalized racism that Planned Parenthood represents. Lee is more concerned about her pro-choice position even though it is killing off her future constituents.
Organizations for the billboard placements in Oakland as Alicia Walters with the "Trust Black Women California" sees things quite differently regarding the pro-life message of "black is beautiful" in the billboards.
"The fact that this (billboards) has been co-opted is something that is obviously only meant to divide us. I think our community can see right through it," said Walters.
Organizations as Walters state it is Planned Parenthood that targets poor black women and deny black children to the right to life is far more guilty of racism, especially when Planned Parenthood represents a current day eugenics policy of its founder Sanger. Young black females are three times more likely to have an abortion due to "targeting".
Planned Parenthood dismissed the charges.....and their abortion mills continue to churn.
