In ‘a knockout sport,’ Manny Pacquiao will floor Timothy Bradley on the cards

Freddie Roach says Manny Pacquiao is determined to take the fight “out of the judges hands” when he scraps Timothy Bradley on April 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The 30-year-old Bradley (31-0-0-1, 12 KOs) is set to defend the WBO welterweight title versus the 35-year-old Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KOs).

In their initial bout in June 2012, Bradley unwittingly stole Pacquiao’s crown when criminally incompetent judges handed him a split decision.

“It's a knockout sport and if Manny hits him, he'll finish him this time,” said Roach, 53, who has been voted Trainer of the Year on four occasions by the BWAA. "It will be the best Manny we've seen."

Pacquiao most recently exited the squared circle in November after universally outscoring Brandon Rios to capture the WBO international welterweight belt.

Displaying elite footwork and the uncanny ability to deliver punches from all angles, Pacquiao peppered the 27-year-old Rios (31-2-1, 23 KOs) with brilliant combinations that left “Bam Bam” bruised, cut and swollen.

“Desert Storm,” who outworked Juan Manuel Marquez in October, is quick, aggressive and fearless.

Unfortunately for Bradley, despite being an extremely formidable prizefighter, he possesses feathery fists and is incapable of hurting Pacquiao.

Plus, considering the revenge factor, Pacquiao will be supremely prepared for a sequel with Bradley.

Although “The Fighting Pride of the Philippines won’t “finish him this time,” Manny Pacquiao will decisively trump Timothy Bradley on the cards roughly a month from this evening in “Sin City.”
