The mellow flavor and richness that Dei Fratelli salsa lends to this dish is delightful. Dei Fratelli products are available in grocery stores across the country and online, so they are local to all.

IN A FLASH BARBECUE
- 1 pound beef, pork, or chicken
- ½ cup salsa (mild, medium, or hot) Dei Fratelli is recommended
- ½ cup diced onions
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes or chili powder to taste
- Cheese topping (optional)
- Sour cream topping (optional)
Sauté meat and onions till transparent and meat is no longer pink.
Add salsa.
Add seasoning and stir for 1 minute till heated thru.
Serve on Kaiser Rolls, or try with artisan bread from your bread maker.
Top with cheese and/or sour cream if desired.

I can't wait to try this.
What a great idea. I have never heard of this brand of salsa, but I have done similar things with salsa,barbecue sauce, and even plain tomato sauce. Isn't it great that whatever we have in our kitchens can be used many ways.
