In addition, blueberries are packed full of nutrients that the eyes need. Therefore, this fruit can improve your vision while at the same time protect against strokes and heart disease. Since people with diabetes, have an increase risk for vision challenges, strokes, and heart disease they will want to include blueberries in their diet. Since blueberries do contain sugar, you’ll need to watch your portions. It’s best to eat them raw when you need to raise your blood sugar not when your blood sugar is high. Add 3 cups of fresh raw blueberries
1 cup of plain bio-yoghurt
Add 4 cubes of ice to the blueberries and plain bio-yoghurt in the blender. Blend until smooth. Serve cold immediately. Enjoy!
