Improve your marriage with a weekend away

If you’re looking to improve and enhance your marriage in 2012, Worldwide Marriage Encounter can help you achieve that goal through a weekend away. During your weekend encounter, which does not consist of marriage counseling sessions, you and your spouse will be encouraged to spend time together as a couple without the distractions of your normal lives.

Unlike conferences in which you sit and listen to a speaker, a Marriage Encounter weekend involves a series of group presentations by three Catholic couples and a priest. After each session, each couple is given time on their own to discuss what they learned, in private. Marriage Encounter weekends are designed to help couples foster better communication.

The weekend starts on Friday evening at 8 p.m. and ends Sunday afternoon at 4:30. You do not have to be Catholic to attend; the only requirement is that you are married. Registration is $60 per couple. Additional donations are requested, but not required, at the end of the weekend.
