Starting January 2013, The Improv Effect will go LIVE on stage the first Thursday of every month at the Comedy Club Jacksonville.
Who Is “The Improv Effect”? & Would My Mother Approve?: The Improv Effect — since 2008 — performs unscripted, fast-paced, quick-witted shows inspired by suggestions from the live audience, similar to that of Whose Line Is It Anyway? No canned laugh track! They like to think of their shows as a “Choose Your Own Adventure” novel. And everyone, including your mom, loves those.
Why Do They Rock Your Socks Off Your Tiny Little Ankles?: In 2012, The Improv Effect won the Norman Studios Silent Film Festival as well as “best character” and “best use of prop” at The 48 Hour Film Project: Jacksonville. The troupe creates original content weekly for their fans on their YouTube channel and each member can even hold their breath for 4 minutes straight before they pass out. Talk about talent!
How Can They Pass Their Awesomeness On To Me?: The Improv Effect facilitates corporate training nationwide, beginner and intermediate classes for Improv enthusiasts (and kids!) in Jacksonville, provides entertainment at various company events, and can tailor a program for your brand specifically to give you a "winning" edge.
