‘Impractical Jokers’ find ‘Tooth or Consequences’ on Tru-TV

On last night’s episode of “Impractical Jokers,” titled “Tooth or Consequences,” Tru-TV states a loud and clear warning that the following program contains scenes of graphic stupidity among four lifelong friends who compete to embarrass each other. Joe Gatto, Sal Vulcano, Brian “Q” Quinn and James “Murr” Murray would do just about anything to win a challenge.

This time the guys are in a bridal shop called Bridal Reflections. Where they will pose as salespersons who must say and do whatever they are told by the other Jokers in this first challenge titled “Say Yes to the Pest.” Murr is up first, when two ladies come in together. When Murr went inside with one girl, deliberately leaving the other outside the dressing room, then letting her back out, the one asked the three-word question, WTF? Murr won this one. Sal was next, and the bride was not at all happy with his questions. When he hid behind the wedding dresses, then asked the girl trying on a bridesmaid dress if she saw his pants, he won the challenge. Joe was next and the groom was there, so he had to tell him all about the experience at bachelors in Las Vegas. This guy was disgusted with Joe’s actions and tried to avoid him. When Joe said the gown, the fiancée tried on was gross, it was nearly over, but he had to ask her what style her first wedding gown was? He lost! Next was Q, who asked two girls who came in together, why one was not in the bridal party? She said she was not chosen because the bride is marrying her ex. Then he had to say that two girls at the wedding saw the groom’s wiener. Q made it through, leaving Joe the only loser in this round.

Next challenge was a head-to-head challenge where they posed as fragrance makers and convince a group that they had the best ad campaign in the challenge titled “Cologne-oscopy.” Q & Sal were first, with Sal’s fragrance titled Eau Ver Compensate (as in over-compensate) with a guy crouched down in front of an awesome sports car. The wording under the title read, Tiny Package, Big Smell. How could he convince the strangers in the control group that he had the best ad campaign? Q’s was Mother’s Musk, showing a side view of a woman’s body, with a pregnant belly and the perfume bottle inside her womb. Under the title were the words; “back to the womb.” When the votes were cast, Sal got a unanimous vote, making Q the loser.

Murr & Joe were up next; Joe was first with his fragrance called “Orphan” and words “Foster Your Essence.” It featured a child walking alone down a street. Murr’s was “Cropdust” showing a farmer in a field with a crop dusting plane above him, and words, “Just Did It.” (Cropdust is a slang term for passing gas.) Orphan won, so Joe had some redemption.

Challenge three was titled “Selfies.” They had to get a stranger to take a selfie with them, for a reason given to them by the other guys. Before the challenge started, Murr’s tooth fell out leaving his smile wide open. He chose to take the loss, making him the loser of this episode.

For his punishment; he had to take a selfie with strangers of the Joker’s choice. He even found a guy who was nice enough to hold his tooth and take a selfie with him, much to the dismay of the other three on this gaping hole of an episode of “Impractical Jokers.”
