On last night’s episode of “Impractical Jokers,” titled “Baggage Shame,” Tru-TV states a loud and clear warning that the following program contains scenes of graphic stupidity among four lifelong friends who compete to embarrass each other. Joe Gatto, Sal Vulcano, Brian “Q” Quinn and James “Murr” Murray would do just about anything to win a challenge.
In the first group of clips, the guys are at Fairway Market, and each has to tell a shopper a secret that the others will be whispering in his microphone. Then they will try to get the shoppers to share a secret of their own. Murr got to tell two secrets and both guys actually told him theirs. Joe had no luck with getting anyone to tell their secrets, but Sal found a woman who was proud to tell him that at her age, she was still horny. Q found a woman who was Murr’s old neighbor, and she had a secret about him; he lived on the fifth floor, and she lived on the third floor. One day, her ceiling was leaking because he was having sex in the shower and overflowed the bathtub. So everyone won that round but Joe, and it seems that Murr lost something too, like his virginity, maybe!
Next segment was at Blick Art Materials, where they were teaming up on the sales floor. It was Murr & Q versus Joe & Sal, as each team had to say and do what the other team told them to do. Joe & Sal were up first, as a woman came in to pick up stuff her boss ordered, they had to earmuff the person each time they said a bad word repeatedly. It was hysterical to watch them as the two women let them do it. When another woman came in looking for fabric, they had to make up names of the colors to help her out. As a man was looking through a book of colors, they were not allowed to say a word, until the guy finally walked away. Q & Murr were next and there was a journal on the counter and Q had to read it to a lady. When a woman with a scooter came in, Murr had to take it and go as fast as he could around the store, before returning it to her. A pretty black woman was looking for art supplies and Murr asked her what her favorite color was, she said probably red, and he had to say African American, and he said it too!
The last challenge was a joker versus joker challenge with Joe versus Sal. They had to take pictures of people for their blog, which they did not know the name of until they were told. When Joe was up, he got through the first one without a hitch, but the second one where he had to tell a tough looking guy his blog was called Silly Little Short Guys, he was not about to get punched in the mouth, and lost on that one. Sal did so much better making Joe the big loser for the episode.
For his punishment, Joe was at JFK Airport, and he was a limo driver picking up a client named Jugs McBulge. After quite a while, he found that Jugs missed his flight, so he had to take luggage out of people’s hands and put it back on the carousel. After doing this a few times without getting punched, he had to stop and frisk travelers, after getting away with one frisk, he had his last task; to take his blow-up doll off the carousel and announce to everyone there, that it was his. As he carried it out on his shoulders, he told her to watch her head as he went out the door on this hilarious episode of “Impractical Jokers.”
