Just over a year ago Chrysler introduced its "Imported from Detroit" ad campaign during the 2011 Super Bowl in the form of a commercial featuring Detroit rapper Eminem and the new Chrysler 200.
The campaign was designed so Chrysler continues to appeal to mainstream America as an "all-American" car manufacturer despite being bought by the Italian giant FIAT. Chrysler feels that their campaign has been successful enough over the last year to launch a new line of merchandies to coincide with their commercials.
This new collection of merchandise features a variety of graphic shirts and accessories which can be purchased from IFD Store for around $29.
The Detroit Free Press reported that Saad Chehab, president and CEO of the Chrysler brand said, "The "Imported from Detroit" theme continues to generate a conversation throughout this country and we are proud to share that message through this new collection of clothing and accessories."
