Family is an important matter, because it is the basic unit of the society. The natural traditional family consists of a man and a woman to form a couple and biological children. It is necessary to keep this component as a unit of natural healthy society. Most of time, terrible crimes such as murder result in long-term emotional cut off between family members. Emotional cut off originates from rage between family members, which causes anger and violence.
When parents behave in a selfish manner to satisfy their personal life and leave their responsibilities towards their children, including caring for them and providing them with feedback; children reflect their anger through their behavior and by emotionally cutting off towards their parents to decrease their painful feeling of shame and guilt.
During the early stages of development and in adulthood, children or adults may use addictive substances such as alcohol or drugs to numb their feelings. This may result in many negative consequences such as stress from loss of job, loss of money, separation from the family, and depression. Additionally, chances of the occurrence crimes increase.
Many families need help in developing their intimacy, social and medical programs may assist these families to gain a healthy society.
