Death metal elder gods Immolation have rounded up another successful American run, and they will hopefully end on a positive note at the Backstage Live in San Antonio tonight. This will be made possible with the joint effort of Austin and San Antonio hessians alike. After the dreary turnout of last Saturday's Absu show, South Texas has a lot to make up for.
As of press time, the show is still free to anyone 21 and up until 9pm. Immolation will also be giving out free copies of their killer new EP, Providence. How many times do you have to see the word "free" before you decide to go?
Another bonus - Gigan has dropped off, so the show will be a short list of local acts and then Jungle Rot and Immolation. This means a shorter overall show, and less cooling of heels before Immolation comes out to burn us all alive!
Your scene is looking flabby, San Antonio. Austin, you're not looking so hot either. Get on your feet, get behind the wheel, and get to the show. Immolation has been kind enough to not insult us with embarassing albums or style changes, so we owe them a good show. GO.
For more information: Doors are at 7pm. All ages welcome. 21 and up FREE.
