Imbolc Events Happening Around the Bay

Even though the official day of Imbolc, or Candlemas, is still a few weeks away, we here in the Bay Area are already deep in the season of Imbolc. The lambs have been born. The mornings are cold and frosty. The afternoons are comfortable and there is just a hint of the Spring in the air; teasing us that warmth is just around the corner. Even the Spring bulbs are starting to show their stalks.

Yes, the season is turning.

Celebrating Imbolc, for those of us in this region of the world, is recognition that Spring really is right at our doorstep. We are blessed with an extended period of warm weather and sunshine. Honoring this Pagan Sabbat is remembering these blessing of place.
