Imbolc celebration in Winchester MA

“Things are waking up in the Earth,” says Mary D’Alba, Witch. “We wake up the dormant side of ourselves. The fact that we have community to celebrate that with is huge.” Join in community for Rev. D’Alba’s Imbolc ritual on Saturday February 2 2013 in Winchester MA. Everyone is welcome.

“I love Imbolc,” Rev. D’Alba says. “It’s one of my favorite sabbats. It’s a planning time, a wake-up time. We bring the light into planning for the summer.”

Everyone of all ages and faiths is welcome at this ritual. Rev. D’Alba says, “It’s always nice to have new people to add different energy to the group. Whenever we come together it is community. We do things that are uplifting for anybody, no matter what their belief system is. All we ask is that you have an open mind.”

The ritual will include a guided meditation, chanting, a healing circle, and more. Everyone will have the opportunity to charge a candle for “burning away the old and lighting the fire of the new” for later use at home.

The ritual will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at 38 Church Street, on the second floor, in Winchester MA.

A $10 to $20 donation is requested. Please bring an item for the local food pantry. If you wish, bring a small item to charge on the altar. See www.marydalba.com/imbolc-celebration.php for more information. Please RSVP.
