Babies will be able to go green with a new line of products authorized by the John Lennon Estate that will be available in stores in April.
Re-Think It Inc.'s Dandelion Earth-Friendly Goods, which specializes in environmentally sound products for babies, will launch the Imagine a Better World line of plush toys and diaper bags April 1 featuring the "Real Love" designs. Those drawings, originally done by John Lennon, were published in book form in 1999. The plush toys will feature elephants, rhinos and giraffes.
Dandelion's products are made using eco-friendly materials and processes. The new Lennon soft plush animals are made from organic cotton terry and soft velour and stuffed with corn fiber. The plush animals also have a rattle inside.
In June, the company will add an "Imagine a Better World" organic canvas diaper bag decorated with John Lennon's animal designs to the line. The bag, made from organic cotton canvas, will have rope shoulder straps and a number of pockets to carry baby items.

The company tells me the items are manufactured in China. And, they said, "just as a note, all of the Dandelion products exceed the CPSIA and EU requirements for toy safety."
