October 4, 2011 – For those interested in spiritual matters, Jewelle St. James, (author of All You Need Is Love and Jude: My Reincarnation from Auschwitz) is about to formally announce the publication of a new book investigating her past-life experiences with John Lennon.
The Lennon-Bronte Connection (St. James Publishing, 2011) explores the past-life connection between Beatle John Lennon and the tragic 19th century English poet Branwell Bronte. In this book, the reader is taken on the author’s journey to discover evidence that Lennon was the reincarnation of the troubled brother to England's most literary sisters, Anne, Emily and Charlotte. The book, 162 pages, is available for pre-order at Amazon and priced at $17.95.
BACKGROUND AND INTERVIEW
The famous Bronte sisters produced classic literary works we still know today-Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre andThe Tenant of Wildfell Hall. While Branwell was considered in his youth to be the most talented artist and poet of the siblings, he succumbed to the wiles of an older, married woman that he was in love with. When abandoned by her, he drowned his sorrow in the bottle and drugs of the day. He sadly died a young man of tuberculosis, a broken man, without any literary success. His story promises to take on new life with this book.
I spoke to the author on the phone---since the book is not yet out ---to ask her more about what readers can expect from the Lennon-Bronte Connection.
LE: Jewelle, how did you decide to do this book?
JSJ: I had anxiety about this book for a long time. I knew I was supposed to write another book, but didn’t know if it was about Bronte or not. I had to go to England to find out, and let myself be guided. It finally fell together and there were signs everywhere--lots of synchronicity about it. It took its own course.
LE: Where did Branwell live and when?
JSJ: The Brontes lived in Yorkshire, in Northern England, and he lived from 1817-1848. All of them died young. Branwell was a great inspiration to his sisters—and then they became the famous ones, even though he was actually more talented as a child. Branwell looks identical to John in many ways, but success-wise, he was the flip side of John—John was so successful as John Lennon, but Branwell’s life was tragic. He succumbed to drugs and alcohol and was a very sad story.
LE: What was the clue for you that Lennon was the reincarnation of Bronte?
JSJ: Well, what happened, and I also talked about this in AYNIL-- was that a friend and I were playing a psychic game…(laughs) we were young and just goofing around, and I said “who’s this?” I mean this was over 25 years ago. I was holding up a photo of a woman. She said “John Lennon was her sister in a former life!” She didn’t even know it was Emile Bronte. Well I thought nothing of it, we were just playing around. But seven years later I was talking to another woman, a psychic who channeled John Lennon—and she said the same thing—that John was Emile Bronte’s brother. Well that gave me chills. So I decided to take it more seriously and started looking into it. I decided to acquaint myself with the Bronte family further, start researching, and everything started falling together. I took a trip to Yorkshire and it was amazing.
LE: What are the similarities between Lennon and Bronte?
JSJ: Well for starters, Branwell, like John, was an artist and a poet. They both suffered from myopia, they were both raised surrounded by females—Branwell was raised by an aunt, just like John, and both were raised in Northern England, too. Their fathers were both Irish, Branwell and John both drew caricatures--It’s uncanny when you are told that someone is the reincarnation of someone else, and then you find such stunning similarities. It is eerie. You think, there's got to be a connection then!
Note: For a further analysis of this connection and discussion on Jewelle’s new book, read this in-depth article at Personality and Spirituality which also includes many comparisons of photos of Branwell and Lennon. Quite interesting. This site also discusses the philosophy behind reincarnation.
Also, you can read my prior article about Jewelle’s first book, All You Need is Love describing Jewelle’s journey to discover her past life with John Lennon when he was John Baron in 17th Century England and she was Katherine St. James. The two were lovers but his early death left her paralyzed with grief and also died young. It is a riveting account that in my opinion provides unparalleled evidence of reincarnation. Jewelle finds physical evidence in the small English town that the couple she was told about in a psychic reading, actually existed, and that the story was true. It is available at Amazon.
