Looking for someplace fun, exciting, and educational to take your little ones during the next few weekends?  Well, Imagine It! is the place to go!

Imagine It! Children's Museum of Atlanta will be hosting an event titled "Meet the Holidays" which will celebrate and teach children about four major holidays celebrated around the world.  Starting December 5th, every Saturday and Sunday, the museum will have guests storytellers, arts and crafts, musical adventures, and games for kids to play.

Sings songs from around the world or make stocking ornaments for a Christmas tree.  Take a trip to Mexico City as children listen to the story of "The Lady of Guadalupe."  Learn about the seven principles of Kwanzaa and the significance of the colors represented in the Kwanzaa placemat.  Children will also learn how to play the traditional Hanukkah game, dreidel and learn about the Jewish Festival of Lights.

While you're there, also check out Imagine It!'s featured exhibit; Curious George which runs until January 24th, 2010.  This multicultural, very engaging exhibit provides children with an opportunity to participate in singing and dancing, math and science activities, painting, and imaginative play.  The Curious George exhibit features a mini-musical that transports you from African drum beats to French baking and meet characters who speak Spanish.  Visitors can make a stained glass painting, conduct experiments, learn how to construct buildings, and learn new science facts.

Imagine It! is located at 275 Centennial Olympic Park Drive NW.  The museum is open seven days a week and the cost of admission is $12.50 plus tax for adults and children over 2 and above.
