Rock Singer, a regular reader of this column, graciously offered to share his pictures here and in the slideshow below of his trip to the John Lennon Museum in Japan. We thank him very much for these.
Even though there is no photography allowed in the museum, the pictures display the spirit of John Lennon in them.
The museum will be closing on Sept. 10, but until then, it's a great place to remember his life.

I can't believe it is closing! It was a beautiful museum. I visited back in 2006 with my son, who was 1 year old at the time. Quite a train adventure to get there from Tokyo, but well worth it. They had a nice little reading room in the lobby where you could sit and read books and such about John. It was really a wonderful experience and it is sad to hear that it will be closed.
