Image Entertainment Delivers Naked City: Seasons 1 & 2 On iTunes and Amazon

The classic gritty cop drama Naked City will return to homes this holiday season and can be viewed on your TV or any device carrying iTunes or Amazon Instant Video. I had to reach out to a few family members as this show was a little before my time. One thing they all remember is how dark and different this show was for that time period. Almost similar to the blunt reality we saw in shows like Cops and America’s Most Wanted. If you were a fan of this groundbreaking cop drama then this is your chance to relive the first two seasons on any of your connected devices.

The classic TV series put a human face on crime, going beyond a simplistic portrayal of good vs. evil to delve into the complex personal dramas of the people involved. It was also famous for the signature closing of every episode, “There are eight million stories in the Naked City. This has been one of them.”

The show lasted for four seasons between 1958 and 1963. The first season has a total of 39 episodes while season 2 has 32. You can purchase each season for $44.99 or each episode individually for $1.99. This would be a great last minute gift for fans of old TV dramas so it’s just in time for the holidays.
