Did Beyonce flash the Illuminati sign during the half time show at the Super Bowl? On Feb. 4, Yahoo! Sports posted a photo of Bey who appeared to have been flashing the "sign" (which is made by making your two hands in to a triangle) to the millions of viewers.
The Illuminati are "a tiny, super-secret cabal of influential individuals who have shaped the course of world events." Many people refer to Beyonce and Jay-Z as "the Illuminati" and many believe that the legendary maybe-myth refers to them. However, as Yahoo! points out, Bey could have been giving her husband a shout out. Could her "triangle" sign actually have been a diamond? Roc-A-Fella Records uses a diamond as its symbol.
Beyonce's possible Illuminati sign flash has caused a lot of people to wonder if there is some kind of conspiracy going on. Others think that the whole idea is stupid. There seems to be a lot of debate about Bey's hand sign, which may have not meant anything at all. Jay-Z flashes that triangle sign all the time -- maybe it is just a thing between the two. Who knows?
At this point, speculation is starting to reach a fever pitch. Many are trying to understand what the Illuminati stand for and who, if anyone, could be representing the group (or cult, as some people believe).
