Winning numbers for the Illinois Lotto jackpot for Feb. 18 are 7, 8, 9, 22, 33, 47 and Extra Shot Number 6, lottery officials announced Tuesday.
No ticket for the $2.9 million jackpot was sold.
Drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at about 9:22 p.m. CST.
Prizes range in size from $2 to the jackpot prize.
"Ask your lottery retailer for a play slip and pick 6 unique numbers between 1 and 52," lottery rules state. "You can also ask the clerk for a Quick Pick and have your numbers automatically selected for you. You can purchase two games for just $1. The Lotto jackpot starts at $2 million and grows fast."
The lottery can be played online on the lottery website. Players must be registered and the lottery is open to Illinois residents only.

Thirty percent of the proceeds from the lottery goes to the state school fund, capital project fund and a variety of causes, including breast cancer research and education, HIV/AIDS programs, Veteran’s Affairs campaigns and multiple sclerosis projects.
