For Governor:
According to Champion News, Bill Brady has repeatedly voted against ethics and accountability reforms.
According to Champion News, Andy McKenna's rule over the Republican Party in this state has been a total disaster of corruption and patronage politics. He apparently even hired a far left law firm (Boggs and Patton) to help bring down SB600, which would have put rank-and-file Republicans back in charge of the party.
According to Champion News and the Chicago-Sun Times, McKenna is also under investigation for ethics violations by the Illinois Republican Party and may soon withdraw his candidacy.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Dan Proft "received no-bid contracts worth $578,000 a year to serve as the mouthpiece for the town and two local school districts" after helping the town president win a close election. And according to Chicago Breaking News and Windy City Watch, one of the ways Proft helped out was by sending dozens of armed guards to polling locations in the middle of an election, allegedly to intimidate voters.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Proft also responded to repeated sexual harrassment lawsuits against the city, filed by its employees, by publicly smearing the victims. Proft also told me in a recent interview that he opposes statewide term limits on all elected officials.

The politicians in Springfield will NEVER fix the culture of corruption! It has to be done by We the People. And we have the tool to do it with.... the Put-Back Amendment. Support the Put-Back Amendment if you want to help end the culture of corruption! www.putbackamendment .com
Amen to that. I am fully behind Putback.
Bill Brady also voted against SB600 after co sponsoring the bill.
