Illegal street racers shut down interstate

A group of illegal street racers shut down an interstate just outside of Orchard Beach, New York for some avid motorsport street racing. This type of street racing tyranny is running rampant through the USA as street racers learn how to host these types of events. How do they do it? Typically, a proxy accident is setup up-stream on the interstate while the watchmen travel down stream with radios on either side of the road to watch for police. Scanners are illegaly used within automobiles to monitor police activity. Illegal street racing is more high tech than you think!

More wild street racing antics

Unsuspecting motorists have no idea what is going on, as it appears like an accident until all the street racers have ran their course. Radio men signaling back and forth with each other keep everyone in contact, as this creates a window of opportunity that lasts about  fifteen to thirty minutes to illegaly street race. During this window of opportunity, it is possible to up to 50 sets of illegal drags. One race after another, the street racers continue to run the streets with out fear of prosecution.

By the time all the street racers run through, traffic resumes just like normal. Most the time people have no idea what is going on, thus the anarchy continues. By use of two way radios and cell phones allows these street races to go on literally anywhere they choose. The only evidence left behind is burn marks, litter, and of course the infamous YouTube videos.

The most dangerous form of street racing is when it happens completely random in an unsanctioned environment. For example, two cars meet at a stop light; exchange words and then race. This uncontrolled street racing is ten times worse than it's orchestrated counterpart, regardless how safe it appears.

Both forms are dangerous and illegal, but at least these racers have the sense to use radios. Even with the safety of modern communication technology, street racing kills innocent bystanders and should be stopped and converted into track style racing. The death rate statistics aren't as bad as you think, check out illegal street racing statistics for more information. Even with these low statistics, it is still important to understand that these innocent people were killed just so a couple of racers could have a "good time". Please think before you illegaly street race!
