With the conviction of Ramon Alvarado earlier this week, the latest chapter in a growing immigrants’ war on Washington came to an end. Ramon was convicted of murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit arson for his role in the attack of a grandmotherly figure who used to employ him and a cousin as day laborers.
After Jose Alvarado received a $75 check for work he completed at Lila Meizell’s home, around Thanksgiving 2008, he changed the check to $7,500 and cashed it. To cover up that crime, Jose paid his cousin, Ramon, to kill the woman. Alvarado forced his way inside the home grabbed the 83-year-old by the throat and slammed her into several pieces of furniture before pouring the gas and setting the fire, according to court documents. When the corpse was pulled from the home, Meizell appeared to have been burned alive.
Jose Alvarado’s wife, Ana Rodas pleaded guilty to a felony charge of being an accessory after the fact to murder.
The director of the Montgomery County jail identified the threesome as illegal aliens. They had no prior records. Of course, this heinous crime does not represent all Latinos or all immigrants. However, the question must be asked, What if the United States had tougher border protection?

It's just too bad that they don't have to worry about being wealthy to be able to survive in our prison system. It seems that money to survive is more of a deterrent in Mexico. Too bad we don't have that same kind of system here.

Our government fails the most basic and primary task & duty of government, to protect this Nation and its Citizens from invasion and enforce its laws.
