Illegal Alien’s Case For Driver’s License Tossed By Federal Judge in Nebraska

Nebraska is emerging as one of the states to watch when it comes to shredding illegal aliens of the notion that they have entitlements to rights granted American citizens. A federal judge tossed a lawsuit where an illegal alien, Mayra Saldana, 24, of Lincoln was demanding that she receive driver’s license to navigate on American streets she should not be on in the first place, according to Before It's News.

The federal court ruling flies directly in the face of President Obama’s circumventing of federal immigration enforcement law by signing an executive amnesty order in 2012 which he called the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. In effect his executive order allows illegal aliens that were brought to the United States against the law by their parents when they were young to remain in this nation.

The legitimacy of the executive order has been questioned by legal authorities since scant proof if any is required in order to give the suspected nearly one million illegal aliens a legal foothold on American soil

The federal lawsuit was brought by one of the DACA illegal aliens who decided that she needed to take even more advantage of the protections afforded by Obama’s questionable legal order. Saldana sued the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles because she was denied a driver’s license reported Before It's News.

This came as a tremendous surprised to the expectedly flabbergasted Obama protected illegal immigrant. After all she had been given a work authorization as well as a Social Security number courtesy of the ever vigilant Obama Department of Homeland Security.

But Chief U.S. District Judge Laurie Smith Camp questioned the validity of the notion that the DACA illegal aliens could legally be given driving licenses. She found in her ruling, that there was no violation under the equal protection clause of the U.S. Constitution. As a matter of fact Mayra Saldana was not singled out by Nevada’s DMV, states the Lincoln Star Journal.

The judge’s ruling supports Nevada’s position that the only people who are entitled to legal driver’s licenses in the state are those who, “ are lawfully in the country as determined by the federal government and verified through the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program, not the DACA program,” according to Before Its News.

The federal court decision should stand out as a beacon light for other states, besides Arizona which also denies giving driver’s licenses to illegal aliens. As Nebraska’s Attorney General Jon Bruning put it, “We’re pleased the court dismissed the case and recognized illegal immigrants don’t qualify for Nebraska driver’s licenses,” Reported the Lincoln Journal Star.
