An illegal alien Halloween costume has created quite a controversy in California. The costume includes an alien mask, a green card and an orange jumpsuit with the words "illegal alien" written across the front.
On Friday, Angelica Salas, from the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights asked Target stores and Wisconsin-based Buy Seasons, Inc. to stop selling the costume stating that it is offensive to immigrants. Salas called it "distasteful, mean-spirited, and ignorant of social stigmas and current debate on immigration reform," AOL News reported.
Target reported that they removed the costume from the site after receiving several complaints, and said it was offered online by mistake. A call to several Utah Super Target stores confirmed that they are not and have not sold the costumes in stores.

For the record , I do not think there was anything offensive in the costume. Some people need to lighten up a bit.
