On Wednesday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested Miguel Angel Davila-Ruiz, 33, in Detroit. The Mexican national had been on the run since July when he was charged with multiple counts of sexual assault.
An ICE press release states: "When ERO (Enforcement and Removal Operations) officers arrived and attempted to make entry, Davila-Ruiz and a male associate fled from the house on foot exiting at the rear before officers gave chase. Both Davila-Ruiz and the associate were taken into custody in the backyard of the home. No one was injured during their apprehension."

Miguel Angel Davila-Ruiz has been charged with four felony counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and has been remanded to the custody of the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
The young victim told Oakland County investigators that Davila-Ruiz raped her on multiple occasions in 2011.
In an attempt to shield the her identity, no information about the victim has been released.
