A terminally ill father walks his daughter, 11, down the aisle in a traditional wedding ritual since he won't be around to see his little girl's wedding day. Jim Zetz, 62, has stage 4 pancreatic cancer and wanted to be a part of his youngest daughter's special day long before it'll ever even happen.
Zetz held hands with 11-year-old Josie and walked her down the aisle at their home in Murrieta, Calif. March 14, RadarOnline reported April 1.
A ring was put on Josie's index finger and the pastor pronounced them "daddy and daughter" before a number of guests who were family and neighbors. When the ill father walked his daughter down the aisle, the event had the whole works, including Josie's wedding dress, wedding cake, flowers, and catering.
A video was posted of the wedding titled, “Walk me down the Aisle Daddy,” went viral. The touching got everyone's attention immediately and showed how much a father wanted to be their on his daughter's future wedding day.
