IKEA is coming to Colorado

As an organizer nut, I’m thrilled that the Swedish furniture retailer has announced the opening of its first Colorado store. The store will be located west of Interstate 25, south of Dry Creek and north of County Line Road. The store will be more than 400,000-square-feet on two levels and include a roomy parking garage.

I have been planning out the remodeling and organizational projects I can accomplish with the affordable furniture I will soon have access to at IKEA. (Don’t tell my husband.) The first item I will purchase is the Expedit bookshelf that I expect will be the long awaited solution to the organizing dilemma in my craft room.

Although there still isn’t an opening date for the Colorado store, the wheels are in motion and I am excited beyond believe. If you want to familiarize yourself with their products, check out their online store at www.ikea.com.
