IKEA, the Swedish-based furniture giant, has opened the recruiting floodgates for their new store in Centennial, Colorado. The new store will be locted near the Park Meadows Mall. The new jobs, which will include sales staff, customer service, interior desingers, child care providers, warehouse personnel and even restaurant workers, are expected to start in fall of 2011.
A quick view of the Careers page on March 16, 2011 from the Ikea website reveals 18 job openings in the Denver/Centennial area.
Construction of the 415,000 space isn't close to completion; however, the store is anticipating its hiring needs early in the opening cycle. The new store, which is the first IKEA outlet in Colorado, is expected to draw record crowds on their first day of business.
