Paczki Day is not have the popularity and other parts of the country as it does here in Detroit. Therefore the Paczki depraved rest of the country will be turning to IHOP to celebrate Fat Tuesday on March 4, 2014.

IHOP to give away free stacks of pancakes on Paczki Day, Tuesday, March 4.

All IHOP’s outside of Paczki Land will be offering a free short stack of their famous buttermilk pancakes to celebrate National Pancake Day. IHOP’s in the Detroit area will join in the celebration.

In the past eight years IHOP has been able to raise over $13 million by giving away the free short stacks in exchange for a free will donation to charity. According to the restaurant chain, the hope is for $3 million this year to go to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Shriners hospitals for children and other local charities.

Free short stacks of pancakes be available from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. If you happen to be traveling that day the offer is valid and IHOP restaurants throughout the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
