Celebrate National Pancake Day today! On Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, IHOP restaurants are hosting a free pancake giveaway, with the hopes that you'll donate money to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. ABC News on Monday, Feb. 4, reported, "Tuesday, Feb. 5th is National Pancake Day, and all IHOP restaurants across the country are giving away free pancakes."
IHOP (International House of Pancakes) hopes to raise $3 million this year for National Pancake Day 2013. According to Herald Online Monday, Feb. 4,
"Since the inception of National Pancake Day in 2006, IHOP has raised more than $10 million and given away more than 14 million pancakes to support charities in the communities in which it operates. On Feb. 5, 2013, for the eighth consecutive year, guests from around the country will once again celebrate National Pancake Day at IHOP and enjoy a free short stack of Buttermilk pancakes."
In 2012, IHOP served four million free pancakes on National Pancake Day, and pancake lovers donated more than $3 million to children’s charities.
