IHG Priority Club Rewards members will see changes to the program beginning this summer.
The program will be changing its name from Priority Club Rewards to IHG Rewards Club.
Free Internet access will be expanded to include all hotels worldwide for all members starting in 2014. Gold and Platinum elite members will have complimentary Internet access at all locations starting July 2013.
Award nights will count toward elite status and members will be able to rollover any nights earned beyond the number of nights needed to qualify for elite status to the next year. And members who stay in three or more IHG brands will be able to fast track to elite status.
Additional details about the program are not yet available, but aside from complimentary Internet access for all members and the name change, it looks like most changes involve being able to qualify for elite status more quickly.
