iHeartRadio opens Thicke with surprises, closes with Timberlake

Robin Thicke may have missed a button and a live performance of a viral sensation sent shock and awe through the star-studded crowd, but all and all, the iHeartRadio music festival was a sense sensation from start to finish.

Robin Thicke, who performed at iHeartRadio last night, gave an incredible show at Boulevard Pool last month.

Thicke apparently lost a button and had a near-zipperless appearance while banging out his hit “Blurred Lines.” Thicke, who recently played at The Cosmopolitan's Boulevard Pool, laughed off his slip of the zipper and wardrobe malfunction to host Ryan Seacrest after his performance at the start of the show.

And Ylvis (how appropriate!) came out with a live performance of their viral video of “The Fox.” Katy Perry followed the Norwegian comedy duo with a single from her upcoming October album.

Can they top the kick off with a big bang as the annual music event winds down tonight at MGM Grand Garden Arena? The final evening’s roster certainly can’t disappoint, with appearances from Sir Paul McCartney, Justin Timberlake, Las Vegas headliner Tim McGraw, Bruno Mars, Drake, Ke$ha, Zedd and Maroon 5.

Khloe Kardashian will make an appearance as a presenter, along with Kelly Rowland, Kevin Hart and Kate Hudson, who wowed the waiting paparazzi last night wearing a purple one-piece short-short ensemble as she cheered for her hubby Matt Bellamy, frontman of Muse. Kardashian, who has yet to publicly speak about the rumors of the end of her marriage to Lamar Odom, is a longtime Las Vegas regular, more for the shopping than the imbibing.

And Britney Spears will also make an appearance at the festival to present as well. She is looking hot after revealing she’s been working to build her stamina, physically and mentally, for her upcoming residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

After the show, head over to 1 Oak Nightclub at The Mirage Hotel & Casino for an exclusive performance from The Wanted. DJ Que will be on board to round out the evening. Keep the camera at the ready as there is bound to be a bevy of celebrities crowding the posh night spot.
