Some potential clients come to my company, Newman Networks, looking for web design. I usually turn those customers away. Our job is to build and design a marketing plan to bring your business customers through a variety of marketing opportunities including, but not exclusive to, web design. Some of our favorite marketing opportunities are networking events, print materials (brochures, ad booklets, business cards), testimonials, logos, web design, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Linkedin) and email marketing solutions. We select those opportunities because they have the highest return on their investment and can be easily implemented into a system. Some potential clients do not know that they all have to work together.
For example, the business card requires the logo, social media links and color scheme from the website. The social media pages are not helpful if no one knows the url. The email marketing solution needs to direct users to the social media pages and the web design also needs to have reasons a potential customer is interested in the products (through testimonials). All the marketing opportunities work together to get potential customers to know, like and TRUST your business (read Bob Burg, "Endless Referrals").
Now, we have a new, simple solution to add to the marketing mix which connects the website to the social media page called iFrame Apps! iFrame Apps is a developer application which frames a website into a business Facebook page. iFrame Apps says "Facebook allows you shape-up your own contents to customize your pages. By using the right tools you will be able to build professional tabs. You can either embed a mini-site in your Facebook page or program a full html page, include videos and images to build your own content. Iframe Tab is a turnkey solution to quickly and simply build and customize your tabs!"
iFrame Apps says it is very easy to install. "Once the app is correctly installed, go under the "Set up" tab.and follow these steps: Select the Facebook page, fill the iframe's content and choose the settings you want to be displayed under the new tab. Then, just submit the form." We used the application in just 5 minutes, the new tab was made available on the Facebook page for Newman Networks, The Credit Woman and Tiagha and Associates LLP.
Thumbs up to iFrame Apps for connecting the elements in the online marketing mix!
