The NPC and other bodybuilding organizations removed the one-piece suit round in the figure division some time back but the IFBB Professional League has also come to the same decision recently. The official memo was sent out on June 15, 2010 about the finality of the one-piece round; making it no longer necessary to purchase a one-piece figure suit. This new governing rule will commence with the Houston Pro Figure competition but where does that leave businesses who specialize in competition suits?
One-piece figure suits are very costly yet produce a stunning look on stage. But, for business owners who specialize in competition suits this will definitely change what's in their future inventory. For years the events made it mandatory to have a one-piece suit, as well as, a two-piece suit so suit makers may not be excited by this new ruling.
For those businesses such a Vandella Costumes, Merry Christine Bodywear or Go Figure Suits by Tamee Marie who've geared up for the 2010-11 season; this may have a cause and effect they aren't ready for. Not only will this pose an issue with the amount of fabric and crystals that have been pre-purchased for the season but for those who offer suit rentals, also. These businesses will be left with a large amount of unusable inventory on their hands.

Yeah, that's going to hurt the providers.
