The owner and designer, Alice Chen, approached shoemaking from a unique perspective. Having had her own foot issues and unhappy with the frumpy solutions available, Chen decided to build footwear from the inside out. Consulting with one of the best foot specialists available – the podiatrist to the NY’s Radio City Rockettes, Dr. Galli, she created a shoe and boot line that would, first and foremost, feel great. Equally as important was style; classic looks that would stand the test of time - with a bit of fun added for good measure.
Slip on a pair of Alice Alan shoes and you won’t want to take them off. Ankle straps can be added for extra drama, or removed for a more traditional look. Colors can be varied to create a version of her original design that makes the shoe just right for you. All designs include removable orthotics support, providing the foot with just the right amount of cushioning and shock absorption.
