According to ComicBook.com on Feb. 26, it appears that the insurance appraisal company, HomeownersInsurance.com, published a pictorial of Iron Man and Batman's estates. A calculation was made in a hypothetical and fictitious situation based on a real life comparison that inspired this pet project. Basically, what if a different kind of agent other than that of S.H.I.E.L.D. were called in by these heroes to itemize and insure all their precious possessions? Such an insurance agent could be up to the task.
One would imagine an insurer would have to take a deep breath and pinch themselves. But soon enough they were meander through these comparable estates.
By the looks of the diagram, Iron Man seems to the one beating out Batman in net worth, beating out the "Dark Knight at $200 thousand a year in insurance coverage. The Wayne Estate, a mere $115 thousand.
One would probably have to guess that Stark's net worth is based on his own genius and original designs, while Bruce Wayne relies on Lucius Fox to supply Batman for his technological needs.
To quote Obadiah Stane from "Iron Man":
"Tony Stark was able to build this in a cave! With a bunch of scraps!"
However, Bruce Wayne is not Tony Stark, is he?
Neither is Ace Frehley. He may seem to be a hero to the eyes of some. It seems that former KISS guitarist's home went into complete foreclosure because he could not make payments on his home. This real life icon of rock and role not only owes two years on his mortgage, but also back taxes as well.
So, Stark Industries seems to have both Ace Freely and Bruce Wayne beat in total worth.
