Coming a little over a month before the release of the first issue of IDW's Dack Fayden comic for Theros, that follows our planeswalking, thieving hero to the plane of gods, heroes, and monsters, the second issue's cover has been revealed, and it looks like Dack has managed to get himself in a fair bit of trouble on the new world very quickly. Here are the full details:
Magic: The Gathering – Theros #2 (of 4)
Jason Ciaramella (w) • Martin Coccolo (a) • Dan Scott (c)

In his fine tradition of running afoul of dangerous women like the mass-murdering planeswalker Sifa Grent, Dack's been backed into a corner by a Therosian Gorgon, who apparently guards half of the shattered gauntlet he's seeking. Note that red stuff on his right arm - which is indeed usually gloved - isn't blood, his or anyone else's, it was put there with magic as a punishment from a theft early in his career. The narrow-eyed look of exasperation on his face is pretty priceless. The Gorgons of Theros, it seems, don't actually have cobras for hair or whatnot, just the suggestion of something slithery, much like those on other planes.
