Isabelle Donola is the mastermind behind the reconstructed and recycled clothing line: IDNYC. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Isabelle studied fashion and worked as a head-designer for Alkatraz in her home country before moving to New York City to intern with designer, Tunji Dada. A few years later, Isabelle ventured out on her own to create IDNYC and finally settled in Downtown Los Angeles in November of last year. She fell in love with the up and coming feel of the Downtown area.
Part of the beauty of IDNYC is the fact that every garment is hand tailored, deconstructed and redesigned into a piece of "avant-garde wearable art."
About her upcoming collection, Isabelle says, "I mainly used 100% Italian wool and 100% quality silk. For my Spring/Summer collection, I am going to use 100% linen, quality cotton gauze and 100% silk. IDNYC brings quality and style to the professional yet edgy woman."
