Idina Menzel performs ‘Let It Go’ from Disney's ‘Frozen’ at 2014 Oscars (video)

Idina Menzel gave the fans of the Disney’s Frozen movie a beautiful performance on Sunday night. The Broadway star shared a special moment on the 86th Annual Academy Awards when she belted out the title song of the movie, Let It Go. It was the last song of four singles to be performed on the Oscars and the star definitely moved the people watching the show.

Idina Menzel had told reporters that she was nervous before her performance. And she did rehearse the segment before the show to make it perfect. While she might have been concerned, the star definitely gave a beautiful performance for everyone watching. With the perfect backdrop it gave a strong impression of the movie. The addition of a live orchestra was special and Let It Go sounded absolutely breathtaking.

While the song did pick up the award, it was a hotly contested category. With Pharrell Williams and U2 competing with their performances as well, the decision of who might go home wasn't clear until the envelope was opened and the winner was announced.
