Identified shooter of Columbia Mall

The shooter who killed two people yesterday at Columbia Mall in Maryland was identified as Darion Marcus Aguilar (19) who lived in the city of College Park, situated less than 20 minutes of Washington DC, informed today the Howard County Police.

One of the victims was Brianna Benlolo, (21) who also lived at College Park but there not yet confirmed any relationship between her and the shooter, according the Howard County Police Chief, William McMahon. The other victim was identified as Tyler Johnson, (25) from Ellicott City, Maryland.

The victims worked at Zumiez store located at the second floor at the Columbia Mall.

The Police also said the shooter arrived to the mall in a taxi cab at 10.15 am and he went to the first floor and then he reached the Zumiez, a skate store.

McMahon said the Police worked overnight in the investigation and they found in the scene crime a backpack with amunitions, explosive devices, and powder. "He has not criminal record and there is not evidence about the reasons for what he did", add the officer in the conference at Columbia Mall parking in the Sunday morning.

No further additional information was given until the investigation will finish.

In other side of the events, the Police said the Columbia Mall will be open this Tuesday no late and the people who left theirs belonging behind in the middle of the shooting, they can pick them up today Sunday from 12.00 to 5.00 pm in a location in front of the mall or call the phone (410) 730 3302.
