Ideas for a Pink Black and White Wedding

This wedding theme can be bold and make a statement, or it can be fun and flirty. Black and White together is classic and chic. Pink and Black is bold. But how about all three colors together. They do come together nicely.

Venues: Depending on the time of year. And yes you can use this wedding theme during the Winter season. Will depend on where you might want to have your wedding. If during the Spring or Summer, you could opt for a back yard wedding. A beach scenery, or maybe a nice park setting. If during the Fall you could still opt or an outside wedding if weather will allow. During the Winter renting a building would be the best way to go.

Bride's Dress: Classic white dress would be ideal. But off white could be used, depending on your personal color preference. You can always add a wide ribbon sash to your dress in Pink or Black to make a statement. If you are leaning towards a fun and flirty style wedding. Don't rule out the option for a colored Wedding Dress.

Bridesmaids Dress: if you are using Pink as your main color. Choose dresses in that color. Of course the color of Pink could depend on the Season. Spring is more pastel, Summer/Fall tends to be bold colors. Winter you would want to go with a lighter Pink. If you are feeling a little more daring choose dresses in the color black. Add pink sashes, bold jewelry in black or pink, and matching shoes. Pink shoe with black painted toenails or vice verse.

Maid of Honor: If you choose pink as your main color. The Maid of Honors dress should be a darker shade of pink then your Bridesmaids dresses.

Flower Girl: Here you can use a dress in Pink or White complete with a sash opposite the dresses color. Or you could choose a dress in poke-a-dot or strips to go with the theme. You could also go with a dress that is pink, frilly, and lacy.

Groom: Classic black tuxedo is a great choice here. Add a pink boutonniere to match the bridal boutique. But if you are looking for that little something different, you could opt for a white tuxedo with a pink flower. Add a black tie with either choice. A little something different try a black tuxedo with pink shirts.

Groomsmen: That classic black tux is a perfect fit here. The boutonniere here should match the bridesmaids flowers. Again pink shirts could work here as well.

Ring Bearers: Here again you can use the pink and black theme. Black slacks and a pink shirt. Or white shirt and pink vest. If you have a ring bearer that isn't going to the color Pink. Consider a black and white outfit. Then to use the colors Black and Pink, purchase a Pink pillow with Black ribbon streaming down the side.

Decorations: Tables linens, you can choose to go with a solid pink over layed with black or white lace. Of course you could do a solid black linen with white or pink lace. If you like stick with the black and white colors for table linens. Or go a little spunky and add poke-a-dots or strips When doing a solid pink linen with a white lace over lay. You can pair it with china with a gold rim and black napkin rings. Fill vases with pink and black crystals, add some pink flowers: roses, peonies, tulips, or hydrangea's are nice choices. Maybe accent with some feathers and white baby's breath.
Candles make a nice addition to any wedding. Use white vases or candle holders. Of course you could always do floating candles. Just make sure they are not near anything flammable.
Tie ribbons around the back of the guests chairs to help pull the look together.
Lighting can be a nice way to finish off the look. If your theme is fun and flirty indirect lighting, LED, or twinkling lights which can be added to any table or inside center pieces. For that romantic theme outdoors use pink paper lanterns and twinkle lights. If your reception will be held indoors go for vintage lamps draped with sheer fabric and the bases wrapped in black.

Cake: You have a few options here: A white, off white, or cream colored cake is certainly great options. If you are looking for something a little different, perhaps playful. You could do a pink cake, maybe add some black for contrast. Of course white and pink works well too.

Invitations: Pink and black is the way to go here. This will also give guest an idea of the theme. Black invitations with pink accents will look great. Avoid having the invitation printed in pink. Against the black as a background, it will make it hard for many to read what it says. Use poke-a-dotted ribbon or striped ribbon to literally tie it all together.

Favors: Focusing on the colors Black and White. Jelly beans placed in Pink poke-a-dotted favor boxes. Not into Jelly beans you can always use M&M's. Poke-a-dotted picture frames is another great idea. Popcorn favor bags, Black and White candy bars, Black and White mint covered candy. Ever thought about Oreo's?
