Nowadays, more people are choosing to attend graduate school at some point in their lives.
In fact, according a chart issued by the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics, last year the unemployment rate for individuals with less than a high school diploma (12.4 percent) more than doubled individuals with associates degrees (6.2 percent) and was nearly six times as high as individuals with professional degrees (2.1).
On average, individuals with a professional degree make around $600 more per week than their counterparts holding less than a high school diploma.
