Finding the appropriate things to eat while traveling can be somewhat of a challenge. Often times if you are in a rush or if the trip is last minute you aren’t prepared for any lag time you might endure. One way to avoid over indulging on your next trip whether it be business or pleasure is to plan ahead. Preparing convenient healthy snacks to bring on board will help you stay on track with your diet. Below are some examples of what I pack when I am traveling.
Nuts/Trail Mix: Ranging from almonds to craisins you can get creative with your trail mix.
Dried Fruit: Be careful of additive sugars in these convenient snacks, always read the labels.
Apples: Easy and convenient not to mention filling!
Kale Chips: These were recently introduced to me and only cost $.69 per pack at Whole Foods.
Snack Bar: LUNA Bar and KIND Bar served with a complimentary beverage (coffee or seltzer water) will hold you over until you land.
