The Bagby Restaurant Group added another dining location to its expansion in Towson, Cunningham’s Café & Bakery, located at One Olympic Place. Open Monday-Friday from 7am – 5pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8am – 3pm, the eatery will feature house-made breads from Baker John Aversa, pastries from The Bagby Group’s Executive Pastry Chef Angie Lee, and locally sourced breakfast and lunch fare from Executive Chef Jason Lear, formerly Chef De Cuisine at Fleet Street Kitchen.
The Bagby Group has teamed up with the Annapolis-based Ceremony Coffee, known for their selective small batch coffees, and will offer their coffee in all of the café’s drinks as well as for retail. A teal colored La Marzocco espresso machine dominates the right side of the counter, ready to serve espresso drinks a plenty, along with brewed and pour-over coffee. General Manager Megan Parker, formally of 13.5% Wine Bar, and Head Barista Kate Cavallaro will also offer house specialty coffee drinks, such as a housemade Horchata and Cinnamon Toast Latté.
