Iconic Productions arrives on indie scene with three films for production

"Iconic Production," headed by Matt Nicholas and CEO Brittany Cereghino is hitting the floor running with three indie films all being made for theatrical release. Check out the information about these three new films below.

Below are the synopsis of each film:

'Sonata,' tells the story of Olivia Salas, a troubled young girl struggling to maintain peace within her broken family. While trying to shut everyone out of her life, music finds it's way in and a cello prodigy is discovered. As Olivia practices for the upcoming Holiday recital at her school, she inherits a dangerous disease that causes her to slowly loose her hearing. The story is about overcoming the hardest obstacles while holding onto your dreams.

This heartwarming drama is set to go into production in New York during the first quarter of 2014, and will be among one of the first films released by Iconic.

Psychological drama, 'Unlocking Ethan,' to begin production during the second quarter of 2014. The film is said to be centered on a renounced psychologist whose name had been previously tarnished by a former rival. He decides he will try to reclaim his name and reputation by helping a teen named, Ethan Mulberry, by moving him out of an insane asylum and into his home.

During the 3rd quarter of 2014, Iconic will begin filming their action-drama, 'Heir.' The story surrounds college student, Noah Danjuma, who knows little of his fathers past, which has always been a forbidden subject in his household. The past catches up with him when he gets kidnapped and taken to Africa; where there he learns that he is the next in line to rule over his late father's tribe. Noah will have to face a dramatic culture shock, learn the ways of his people and become a warrior in order to lead them against the opposing tribe who threatens his land. This is a story of promise, self-discovery and courage.

Matt Nicholas, star of the upcoming film, 'The Preacher's Son" (2014), is in talks to star in both 'Unlocking Ethan' & 'Heir.' Directors & other cast members for the films are currently being secured and will be announced soon.

"Iconic Productions" has hit the ground running with three very promising projects.

"Unlocking Ethan" sounds especially good. Psychological dramas are popular with film goers.

Indie filmmakers will be taking over the world if the big studios can't come up with some story driven and original synopsis such as the three explained above. Big budget films with lots of CGI are fun, but the studios are just trying to out do each other to grab the movie bucks. It is we, the viewers that suffer with no story and all effects.

The Indie Movie Examiner wishes "Iconic Productions" all the luck in the world with their movie endeavors. Stay tuned here for more information on this promising new company.
