Following the big success of "I Love It," the ladies of Icona Pop premiered their music video for follow-up single "All Night" on Thursday. The documentary-like clip sees the ladies host a dance battle in New York City.
Hailing from Sweden, Icona Pop released the raucous dance track, "I Love It," last year in May. The single featuring Charli XCX would start to gain traction on the U.S. music charts a year later where it became a top 10 hit. Now the duo has released its music video for follow-up single "All Night."
Icona Pop originally premiered the "All Night" single back in July. On the dreamy electronic track, the two ladies are still in party mode, singing, "With a love so deep, we don't need no sleep / We could do this all night." The music video for "All Night" is more of a tame affair than the rager that was thrown in "I Love It." Idolator.com notes how this latest clip was inspired by "Paris Is Burning," a documentary that covered New York City’s ball culture in the '80s. Now, Icona Pop hosts a classier party where local dance troupes battle it out. Absolut vodka teamed up with the duo for the video, which is why there are bottles popping throughout. It's a sophisticated but still fun side to Icona Pop.
"All Night" and "I Love It" will be featured on Icona Pop's debut album, "This Is... Icona Pop," which drops on September 24 in the U.S.
