Ugly, isn't it? What used to be such a beautiful, elegant hotel is now being taken down little by little, with the wrecking ball. The Grand Bay Hotel will soon become two large chrome and glass condos called the Grove at Grand Bay. A photo of the new buildings and plans may be seen here.
That big red iconic sculpture (for the Grove anyway) by Alexander Liberman, was supposed to go, but word is that it will be stay where it is, which makes Grovites happy.
