The arctic island nation of just under 320,000 inhabitants topped the list based off of a Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report conducted by the forum. Known for beautiful blue-eyed women, breathtaking mountain scenery, and healing hot springs, Iceland is certainly a destiation that should top any traveler's list.
The top ten countries on the list also include: New Zealand, Morocco, Macedonia, Austria, Senegal, Portugal, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ireland and Burkina Faso. The United States ranked 102 out of the top 140 countries in friendliness towards foreign visitors. The study also listed Bolivia as the least friendly nation to visit.
