Lisa Kelly appeared on “Ice Road Truckers” on the History channel from Season 3-5. She became quite popular with the fans. When she didn’t reappear on Season 6, some viewers got discouraged and even stopped watching the hit television show. Word has it that Lisa Kelly is returning to the frozen ice roads.
The History Channel’s Facebook page has been hinting about her return for days now, though there is no information about when the first airing of Season 7 will be. Commenters on the page have asked repeatedly for a date but are told:
We'll provide more information about Season 7 when it's available. Thanks for being a fan!”
Lisa Kelly may have been popular with the viewers but many of the men truckers that she drove the ice roads with did not like her. Hugh Rowland, an “Ice Road Truckers” veteran, considered her dangerous and did not think she had any business driving the frozen ice roads of Alaska and Canada.
Carlile Transportation, in Alaska, gave Lisa her first job in the trucking industry as a van courier driver. She learned to drive the big trucks after hours and then moved on to driving the ice roads on the television show. Carlile Transportation is also featured in “Ice Road Truckers.”
